To play, think of a question, and then decide which card spread to use.

Next, shuffle the cards while repeating your question either out loud or silently, then lay the cards into the spread. The only stipulation is that your question and choice of spread cannot change while shuffling, or afterward, because this prevents the cards from being cosmically placed into their proper positions, thus giving you an inaccurate message. If you change your question or decide to use a different spread, you need to reshuffle.
